  1. Text Display supported on 2003+ vehicles equipped with a CD-text, MP3 Text, MD Text & Sat capable factory radio. If your radio only supports RDS Text (Radios with MSG Button) then consider the FMRDS is text is more importand that radio controls
  2. External CD Changer must be disconnected.

Dip Switch Settings (IMPORTANT INFORMATION)

The Dip Switch settings on the Dice Module are used to set the operation of the interface by the installer of the device.  Incorrect Dip Switch settings may cause the Dice Interface not to work correctly or not operate at all.

Disconnect the vehicle harness from the module and cycle ignition off for 50 seconds after changing the swithches.

Problem Solution
Radio/Nav Display only shows DISC/Preset and Track/Channel Numbers, But ther is no iPod Control Select  DISC/Preset 5 and make sure it is set to Track/Channel 1
iPod does not display the Dice Logo when connected Reset the iPod  and ensure that the latest firmware is installed. Also check that all cables are connected properly. Note that the iTouch does not  display the logo.
Cannot Select the Interface Check Dip Switch Settings. With the ignition  OFF disconnect the vehicle harness from the module for a few seconds then re connect. Verify that the correct button is used to access the interface 
Radio/ Steering wheel controls do not operate my iPod Reset iPod and make sure recent iPod Firmware is installed
Text is not displaying in selected emulation Identify your radio (see above) set the switches accordingly. Note your radio may support more that one mode.
No Audio from iPod Source Reset the iPod
iPod Does Not Charge Check All connections, Check if the iPod chaged from the wall or computer connections. You may need to reset the iPod
Music is distorted or sound level is low Check and make sure all all EQ & Bass boost options are turned Off on your iPod
The interface operates very intermittently and erratically in SAT Mode If the Dice unit is in Sat Mode, Ensure that the Factory Sat Module is disconnected in the vehicle. Otherwise the Dice Emulator  will have to be set up in a different mode (CD, MD, MP3)
