A quick and easy way to enable the required protocols for Dension Gateway, BTA or AVR product for BMW vehicles with MOST system.

Operation

Enabling:

•Install the Gateway 500 and put into active mode

•Plug in the GEN tool, the enabling procedure happens automatically

•The LED on the GEN tool turns solid green

Disabling:

•Remove the gateway 500 or put it to bypass mode

•Plug in the GEN tool, the disabling procedure happens automatically

•The LED on the GEN tool turns solid green

Association:

Enabling with a GEN tool is only possible for a single vehicle with a Gateway 500 fitted. Once such a vehicle is enabled, the GEN tool can either:

•Disable the same vehicle

•Remain unoperational in any other cases

Once the vehicle is enabled by the GEN Tool the GEN Tool is only capable of disabling the same vehicle and only if the Gateway is in bypass mode or missing. The GEN Tool will not operate in any other cases. Once the vehicle is disabled, the GEN tool can enable another vehicle with a Gateway fitted (e.g. when the Gateway is installed to a new vehicle).
