Connectivity
When connected the stereo the iPhone mount can be secured via a window screen mount or the semi permanent dash mount. The cradle connects to either clip and is secure and can be positioned in numerous different ways for ultimate comfort. The unit gets power from the Cigarette Car Charger which also charges the iPhone when connected.
Music
The iPhone Dock demonstrates what Dension does best, Music to car Integration. The new Dock not only allows you to Listen to iPhone music through the car speakers, but also plays navigation instructions, Internet radio or other app audio through the car speakers. The connection is plug-and-play via AUX-in or FM Modulation which offers near digital quality. The systems is not integrated into the stereo system so control of track selection / playlists etc can't be made from the steering wheel like in other dension kits, however this is made a little easier on the Dension App (Image shown below)
Handsfree
The Dock is designed for handsfree as well as music, & Dension have designed a specific iPhone app to help with ease of use. Simple touch buttons make browsing the phonebook safer and more comfortable and the conversation is played through the vehicle speakers & auto mutes music being played at the time. The package also includes a microphone which connects into the system. This allows greater sound quality for the person you are talking to.

Can the Kit fix onto the window & is it secure?
Yes, the product is supplied with a window or dash mount. The window mount is secure, but not as secure as the dash connection. Its fine for moderate to heavy use but may deteriorate after long periods of sustained use.
Will the Dash mount damage my car?
No, it shouldn't. The type of glue used is very strong but can be dissolved with white spirits. Take care when applying the mount to ensure you get it in the desired position & be careful when removing the pad, try to aviod using sharp objects that may scratch your car. Removing any excess glue can be done with white spirits and a little elbow grease.
Is the quality better than an FM Transmitter?
Yeah Much Better. AUX in or Modulation offer greater quality and no distortion.
Do i have to install the microphone?
Yes, you can install the microphone anywhere near the drivers seat for best results. It routes back to the kit. It can be a little tricky dependant on your vehicle, but most panels pop off with a little persuasion and pop back in again.
