The Dension Gateway Five lets you take control of both your iPod and mobile phone whilst driving, completely hands free and legal. The systems state of the art technology seemlessly integrates with the exsisting OEM system giving you full functionality with both your steering wheel controls and information computer.

Connecting to the CDC (Changer) port on the back of the stereo, along with integrating with the vehicles CAN Bus system, Gateway Five emulates a factory changer, tricking the car into thinking the iPods content is coming from a disc. By also manipulating the CAN Bus feed, the information clusters found on the dashboard are made to show iPod information such as track title, album, artist, playlists and even your mobile phones phonebook.

The additional Bluetooth Integration is provided through the Gateway Five menu system which allows your Phone book to synchronise with the stereo’s display when your phone is connected providing instant access to all of your contacts.  The system will also stream music via Bluetooth, so an iPod or USB stick is not needed.

Currently, only Volkswagen and Peugoet vehicles with certain stereos are compatible with this kit, however Dension have fixed plans to release this product with BMW, Audi, Vauxhall and other compatibility in the very near future.

Terms and conditions

Any iPodCarKitDirect customer is entitled to join the scheme providing the following is met;

2. The 10% loyalty reward is only redeemable when the recommend party purchase an iPod car kit (either Dension or Dice only) from iPod car kit direct
