This version of the ice>Link Gateway 500 (current model GW51MO2) from Dension is specific for Smart vehicles with the MOST fiber optic audio system. It connects directly to the car’s entertainment system and enables control of media players (e.g. iPod), USB flash drives and other USB mass storage devices (e.g. Hard Drives) with FAT file system by emulating an external CD changer and if your vehicle already has a CD Changer you can keep this and switch between the devices. An AUX Audio In connection is available for MP3 players that are otherwise not compatible with the device.

This hard-wired solution delivers CD-quality audio and safe control of the players from the vehicle’s entertainment system controls. Device provides also a standard video output to watch iPod movies on the car entertainment system if available.
