The Dension Gateway 100 for Alfa Romeo Vehicles.

The Gateway 100 iPod car adapter is Densions new version of the Ice Link Plus. The Gateway 100 offers the same compatibility for Alfa Vehicles as the older Ice Link but also provides a few additional benefits, however these are not available for all the vehicles in the alfa range.

Dension are Well known for their iPod integration and the Gateway 100 is no exception. Offering full integration into the Alfa Romeo stereo systems which includes iPod browsing with text display, control via the iPod, stereo or steering wheel controls, a full digital connection for Digital quality audio, Charge for all iPods, iPhones & iPads and an additional AUX input for other MP3 players. How It Works

The Gateway 100 is a CD Changer Emulator, which basically acts as a CD Changer but to allow the connection of your iPod / iPhone into the stereo. The unit is supplied with a harness which connects to the CD Changer port on the back of the car's radio. Once the system is connected you dock your iPod or iPhone which will then interface with the stereo to play your whole music collection.

You have the choice of connecting your device via two methods. A Dock Cable which is very similar to the standard Sync cable provided by apple or a Active Cradle which holds the device in a location on your Dashboard.

Dock Cable - Is best for hiding the iPod away in the glove box or central console
Active Cradle - Will keep the iPod accessible for when you need to access it.

Gateway 100 & Alfa Romeo.
Unfortunately not all of the functions offered by the Gateway 100 are available for all Alfa vehicles. Although they retain the basic functions the Gateway 100 offers, The majority of Alfa Vehicles do not offer Text Support through the stereo or cluster screens. You still control the system through the stereo however it can be a little difficult to navigate. When this is the case we recommend the Gateway Lite for Alfa Romeo.
